MyPlate.com is intended for use by adults aged 18 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Our registration form requires you to select an age range, with the minimum option being 18-24. We do not knowingly allow account creation by minors. If you are an institution seeking to provide MyPlate access to adults under your governance, please contact us about institutional arrangements.
By accessing or using MyPlate.com, you agree to participate in a platform designed to support human flourishing. You agree not to use the platform in any way that undermines the dignity, privacy, or wellbeing of other participants. MyPlate.com reserves the right to remove access for conduct inconsistent with the platform's formation principles.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep your information current. You may export, correct, or delete your account data through the Account Center. Account deletion includes a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel.
MyPlate.com hosts communities with different access modes: Open, Request Access, Invite Only, and Private. Each community has its own norms governed by its Steward. Stewards manage community-specific participation but do not own subscriber data — your private formation content (journal, reflections, prayers, gratitude) remains yours and is never accessible to Stewards. Community-specific norms do not override platform rules or your privacy rights.
Platform rules (privacy, security, account integrity, Canon) are controlled by MyPlate.com. Community norms (gathering schedules, discussion guidelines, formation pathways) are configured by community Stewards. Your personal data and privacy preferences are controlled by you. Stewards cannot override your privacy preferences or access your private formation content.
All platform content, design systems, frameworks, and methodologies — including the MyPlate.com Canon and all associated platform architecture — are proprietary intellectual property of MyPlate.com. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited. Content you create in your journal, reflections, and community contributions remains yours.
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe handles your payment information — MyPlate does not store your card number or full payment credentials. You can manage your subscription, view billing history, and cancel through the Account Center. Refunds are subject to the subscription terms and applicable law. AI cannot autonomously change your subscription price, issue charges, or alter your financial state.
Some features use AI to assist with drafting, summarization, navigation, and reflection support. AI is assistive, not sovereign. AI cannot: interpret our Canon authoritatively, assign roles, approve or remove members, change payments, override your privacy preferences, or make final high-impact enforcement decisions. AI outputs are advisory and reversible. You can challenge, correct, or disregard AI-generated content. Consequential decisions require human governance.
You agree not to: (1) Attempt to access another user's private data. (2) Share your authentication credentials. (3) Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or harassing behavior. (4) Attempt to circumvent security or privacy controls. (5) Use AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or manipulative content. (6) Reproduce or distribute platform content without authorization. Violations may result in access removal.
MyPlate.com may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Account deletion is available through the Account Center with a 7-day grace period. Community participation may be governed by additional community-specific terms set by the Steward, but community terms cannot override platform rules or your privacy rights.
MyPlate.com is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our formation tools are reflective instruments designed to support personal formation — not clinical assessment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.
MyPlate.com is provided 'as is' and we reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features as the platform develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to all features. AI-assisted features depend on external AI providers and may be unavailable if those providers experience outages — core account, privacy, and journal functions remain available independently of AI.
These terms are governed by the MyPlate.com Canon of Human Flourishing. Any dispute arising from platform use will be resolved in a manner consistent with the platform's stewardship principles and applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be accompanied by a version update and a new effective date. We will not silently change how your sensitive data is used without appropriate governance and notice.
